Strictly presenter Sir Bruce Forsyth has been sent home from rehearsals sick - sparking fears he could miss the show's final.
The 84-year-old was reportedly sent home with a head cold after arriving at BBC studios to rehearse on Friday.
Concerned bosses have put results show host Claudia Winkleman on standby because of 'real concerns' veteran entertainer Brucie will not be able to present the final stages of the show.

A show insider told the Daily Mirror: 'Brucie had to go home, he has flu-like symptoms and wasn't in a good way.
'Claudia has been rehearsing his lines in case he can't make it out of his bad.
Show sources added Sir Bruce is determined to make to next week's final and was doing everything to get better.

Claudia has already stepped in for Sir Bruce after he took a week off to rest midway through the series and she presents the results show on Sunday.

It is believed if Sir Bruce still feels ill on Saturday morning he will seek medical attention.

But pals of the entertainer, who has hosted the show with Tess since the beginning, said although the entertainer was determined to make a full recovery for the final, they 'wouldn't bet on' him returning to the screens this week.
