She's never been one to shy away from a trend.

So when it came to choosing an outfit for the Fashion's Night Out event in London last night (Thursday), Cheryl Cole decided to try her luck with the celebrity favourite peplum dress.

However, showing that she never does anything by halves, Cheryl, 29, opted for a double peplum choice as she attended the event at the Giuseppe Zanotti Design store on Sloane Street.

Dressed to impress: Cheryl paired the dress, which had sexy cut-out detailing on the back, with a pair of grey and black T-bar court shoes

The Girls Aloud singer wore a black velvet and lace number, which featured a peplum detail both on the waist and around the bottom as she posed up for photographers outside the store.

While the dress appeared very modest from the front, when Cheryl turned around she gave a cheeky glimpse of her toned figure with sexy cut-out details.

The dress, which was finished off with a visible zip running down the back, also featured a sexy split to make it easier to walk in the tight outfit.

Fierce! Cheryl wore her hair in a high ponytail with some backcombing detail on the crown, and kept her make-up simple with smoky eyes and a nude lip

Cheryl teamed her dress with a pair of grey and black pointed T-bar court shoes.

The pretty brunette star finished off her ensemble by wearing her hair tied back in a high ponytail, leaving her make-up simple with smoky eyes and a nude lip.

Cheryl has been getting back on track following a car crash last week which left her wearing a sling to protect her injured arm.

Best of friends: Cheryl posed up with designer Giuseppe Zanotti inside the store

What a gentleman! Giuseppe took charge of leading Cheryl safely to her car at the end of the night

She had been in the car with friend and manager will.i.am, when the Black Eyed Peas star drove into a parked car while the pair were out for a takeaway at McDonald's.

Explaining the incident afterwards, Cheryl, who was seen with a bloodied nose after the crash, said that will.i.am was talking too much and not concentrating on his driving.

She said: 'He was talking the face off us... He was talking about Nasa and Mars and his song.'
