So when David Beckham attended a Lakers game at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Tuesday, he did his best to look the other direction.
The football star attended the basketball game, which saw the Los Angeles Lakers lose against the San Antonio Spurs, on his own, but was spotted catching up to players Dwight Howard and Tony Parker afterwards.

And when it was time for the famous Laker Girls to perform their sexy dance routines, David focused all his attention on his ham sandwich instead.
In an effort to avoid being photographed looking at the cheerleaders, he did his best to stare blankly ahead until the girls disappeared of the court and the game continued.
David looked every inch the football hunk as he attended the game in a diamond print sweater and dark jeans, with his famous locks swept back.

The British superstar is an avid fan of the Los Angeles basketball team, and is often seen on the court side encouraging the players.
He's often joined by his three young sons and wife Victoria, but made a solo appearance at Tuesday's game.
Earlier that day, he joined his eldest child Brooklyn and baby girl Harper at a special presentation of Victoria's new fashion collection in LA.

The bubbly Australian actress certainly had a great time at the game, as she live-tweeted her comedic antics.
She cosied up to heartthrob Zac, and also performed her own sexy cheerleaders routine, posting a funny snap on Twitter with the caption: 'Here's me auditioning to be a Laker girl (they said I was too original and out of control in a dance sense) x'
